This rug will be woven from a group of artisans who reside in a village just outside of Beni M’rirt which is located within the Middle Atlas Mountains. The traditional Beni M’rirt rug contains a thick knot which allows for their rugs to feel extra plush.
The design of this piece was inspired by a vintage Boujad rug that we wanted to modernize with the Beni M’Rirt knot. Boujad rugs are predominantly red and orange and feature complex geometric patterns of squares and diamonds.
Made up of 100% wool and natural spice dyes, this vibrant rug is sure to radiate beauty within your home.
