Rahma’s Technical Flatweave

This technical Flatweave was woven by Rahma.

Rahma belongs to a beautiful collective of women artisans just outside of Tazenakht, a town known for its weaving history.

This technical weave was made over 6 weeks and is made of 100% “live” wool, which Rahma carded, spun and dyed in her home.

Rahma incorporates three techniques into this breathtaking rug: Zanafi borders, Flatweave and Hand-embroidery.
