This runner will be handwoven by Zahra.
Zahra weaves with a group of women in Anzal.This Women-Only Association is located in the Village of Anzal, about 30 kilometers north of the popular weaving town, Tazenakht. The Anzal collective was founded in 2007 and is kept alive by women passing the craft down through the generations.
Her daughter who learned how to weave from her mom joins her at the loom to help assist with the weaving.
This piece will be made from 100% natural, undyed wool.

Time to Make: Current weave time averages around 8-10 weeks. Rugs larger than 9′ x 12′ may take an additional 2 weeks. We do our best to visit the artisans every 2 to 3 weeks to capture the progression of the weave.
