Zahra’s Varied Boxed Runner

This runner was handwoven by Zahra. Zahra weaves with a group of women in a female-only association.

Her daughter who learned how to weave from her mom joins her at the loom to help assist with the weaving.

This piece was made from 100% natural, undyed black sheep’s wool. The brown hue was derived after letting the runner fade via the Moroccan sun.
